Foodtruth Week of Green Wars!

After weeks of planning, 7th Week of Winter Term is Foodtruth Week of Green Wars! We challenge Carleton students to reduce their energy consumption by cutting out meat from their diets, reducing their use of trays and eating more consciously!
On Wednesday February 17th, join us for a panel discussion called "My Food Story." We will be joined by head Bon Appetit Chef Mike Delchambre and a representative of Thousand Hills Cattle Company.

Hope to see you there!

The participation of the cattle company representative spurs me to ask those of you in the group about "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell. Friends in my circle of acquaintances have read this and are adapting to the recommended diet after getting the idea it is very credible. If a copy is not readily accessible, one can read a substantial portion of it on google by searching the name and locating the on-line preview. For those studying the subject of food, delving into this book looks like it would provide ample fodder for exploration and fact finding/confirmation. If Dr. Campbell is right, then I wager this dietary recommendation is the biggest thing this country will have seen from a food perspective. Let me know.
